ABOUT ME
Engineer. Builder. Banker.
I studied Materials Engineering at VNIT and spent four years as drawn to the business around the engineering as the engineering itself. Alongside the degree I co-founded EUNI, building websites for clients in India and Dubai.
Finance was where it went next. A business goes as far as its operators can push it, and capital takes it further. Valuing companies, pricing deals, sitting with what a board has to decide, that is the work I want to be known for.
India’s mid-market family firms are what I want to back eventually. Too small for institutional capital, too informal for credit, and carrying more potential than anyone is currently underwriting. Building the fund that prices them properly is the long game. Investment Banking is where I learn to do it.

Oracle: Financial Analysis
Result: ROCE has halved from 33.6% to 15.5% as capex hit 37% of revenue; the AI infra. buildout is real, contracted, but not yet paying for itself.
Action: Ran a 5-factor DuPont decomposition alongside growth, leverage, liquidity, coverage, and cash conversion analysis across FY2020 to H1 FY2026, with quarterly cloud revenue and backlog tracked separately.
Context: Oracle’s Gen2 AI data centre supercycle: $523bn of contracted backlog, an elevenfold PP&E expansion to $67.9bn, and the first negative free cash flow in the period.

AstraZeneca PLC: Valuation
Result: Intrinsic value (DCF) lands at $140.3 and $145.7 per share on dual terminal value methods against a $168 market price, a 13% to 17% discount.
Action: DCF with a full WACC build at 8.7% (0.907 beta cross-checked against peers, 4.65% risk-free rate, 5.0% ERP), dual terminal value methods, and trading comparables across five pharma majors on EV/Sales, EV/EBITDA, and P/E.
Context: Tested whether AstraZeneca’s own cash flows support the market price. Implied value stays below it across the entire 7.7% to 9.7% WACC and 9.9x to 11.9x exit multiple grid, spanning $128 to $154.

Hologic / Blackstone: Leveraged Buyout
Result: 3.9x MOIC · 26.7% IRR over a 2031 exit in base case, stress-tested across entry, exit-multiples and exit years.
Action: Built a fully integrated 3-statement LBO: a $13bn multi-tranche package with first lien, second lien, and revolver schedules, a 50% excess cash flow sweep, CVR consideration, sources and uses, a value creation waterfall, and layered IRR sensitivity tables.
Context: Modelled the real $18.2bn take-private of Hologic at $76 per share from the sell side under a live-diligence scenario.

Tiffany & Co.: Acquisition
Result: LVMH’s final $135 per share sits inside the $72 to $156 triangulated range, 18% above its $114 midpoint, a 37% premium to the undisturbed price, of which synergies justify only $1.92 per share.
Action:Built a four-method football field: base and synergy DCFs, trading comparables, precedent transactions across six luxury deals, and a market-model event study measuring a 34.7% cumulative abnormal return around the approach, screening 21 peers in the process.
Context: Reconstructed LVMH’s 2019 approach for Tiffany from the undisturbed date to test one question: did the price paid make sense?
